KARDUM, IGOR - is a professor at the Department of Psychology where he teaches the following courses: Emotion, Motivation, Evolutionary psychology and Personality psychology. For many years he has been a member of the Editorial Board of Psychological Topics, and was the co-editor of their five special issues: “Evolutionary Psychology” (2006), „Emotion: Evolution, Physiology and Expression” (2013), „Health Psychology: Current Research and Trends” (2016), „Personality Psychology: Contemporary Theory and Research” (2017), and „Personality Traits and Social Behaviour” (2021). He has participated in a number of research projects, and currently leads the research project “The Effects of Personality, Emotions and Social Processes in Interpersonal Context,” which is funded by the University of Rijeka. His main research interests are relationships between personality traits and health, dyadic relationships, social relationships from an evolutionary perspective and facial recognition of emotion. He has published four books and more than 100 articles and book chapters.
